Part-time Associate Dentist Naperville, IL 60563 $78,324.55 - $94,326.35 a year - Part-time $78,324.55 - $94,326.35 a year - Part-time Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated Part-time Associate Dentist to join our reputable dental practice for saturdays and one weekday. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional patient care, perform a variety of dental procedures, and contribute to a positive patient experience. This role offers flexible scheduling and the opportunity to work in a collaborative environment with experienced dental professionals. Candidates should possess strong clinical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of infection control and patient confidentiality. Responsibilities Diagnose and treat a wide range of dental conditions using general dentistry techniques. Perform dental procedures including dental extractions, root canal therapy, prosthodontics, endodontics, and oral surgery. Conduct patient assessments, develop treatment plans, and explain procedures clearly to patients. Utilize dental imaging technology and interpret results accurately. Maintain accurate medical and dental records in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Ensure infection control protocols are strictly followed, including aseptic techniques. Collaborate with team members to deliver comprehensive patient care using four-handed dentistry methods. Educate patients on oral health practices and post-treatment care. Adhere to all medical documentation standards and maintain confidentiality of patient information. Skills Proficiency with dental software such as Epic, Eaglesoft, and Dentrix. Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to dentistry. Experience in pediatric dentistry, including working with pediatric patients and pediatric-specific procedures. Skilled in performing dental extractions, root canal therapy, endodontics, prosthodontics, and oral surgery. Familiarity with infection control protocols and aseptic techniques in a clinical setting. Ability to utilize medical imaging equipment effectively for diagnosis and treatment planning. Excellent patient care skills with a compassionate approach to patient assessment and education. Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and medical records management. Experience working in dental clinics or offices is preferred; familiarity with pediatric dentistry is a plus.
