Associate Dentist Oak Brook, IL 60523 Part-time Part-time Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Associate Dentist with minimum two years working experience to join our dental team. In this role, you will deliver high-quality dental care to patients across all age groups, ensuring their oral health needs are met with professionalism and expertise. Your focus will be on providing comprehensive general dentistry services while fostering a welcoming environment that promotes patient trust and satisfaction. This position offers an exciting opportunity to utilize your clinical skills and contribute to the overall health and well-being of our community. Duties Perform a wide range of dental procedures including examinations, cleanings, fillings, extractions, prosthodontics, and endodontics. Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical and dental history reviews, to develop personalized treatment plans. Utilize dental terminology accurately to communicate diagnoses and treatment options clearly to patients. Apply aseptic techniques and infection control protocols rigorously to ensure a safe clinical environment. Take and interpret medical imaging such as X-rays, ensuring proper positioning and image quality for accurate diagnosis. Maintain detailed medical records and documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations and dental office standards. Collaborate with team members in four-handed dentistry practices to enhance efficiency and patient comfort. Educate patients on oral health care practices, preventive measures, and post-treatment instructions. Stay current with advancements in general dentistry, pediatric dentistry, oral surgery, and related fields through ongoing professional development. Qualifications Valid dental license to practice as a general dentist in IL Proven experience in general dentistry with familiarity in pediatric dentistry, oral surgery, endodontics, prosthodontics Proficiency with dental practice management software such as Archy or similar systems. Strong knowledge of dental terminology, medical terminology, anatomy, infection control standards, and HIPAA compliance. Excellent patient care skills with a compassionate approach Knowledge of medical imaging techniques and proper sterilization procedures is essential.
