• We are looking for a qualified Oral Surgery Dental Assistant to join our premier dental practice.

IV Sedation Monitoring/DAANCE certification preferred. The right applicant will have experience preparing oral surgery patients, ensuring that they are comfortable and offering another set of hands for procedures. Assistants must help Oral Surgeons to clearly see problems and changes within a patient's mouth. This often requires taking x-rays of the bone structure of a patient's jaw, as well as taking photographs of the teeth.

All Family Dental and Braces 6585 E State St. Rockford, IL 61108 Schedule is: Tuesday-Friday 7:00am-3:00pm. Responsibilities Help Oral Surgeons prepare for procedures by having the necessary tools sterilized and in place Help keep a patient's mouth clean and dry during procedures and hand the Oral Surgeon the necessary tools at the appropriate time Patient education; explain procedures and discuss treatment progress and plans This position will include all aspects of clinical dental care Take and monitor patients vitals Requirements Previous oral surgery chairside assisting is preferred Coronal polishing/sealant, and nitrous certified preferred IV Sedation Monitoring Certification preferred Candidate Characteristics Resonate with
