at Central Counties Health Centers in Springfield, Illinois, United States Job Description Responsible for the diagnosis and integrated management of diseases of the teeth and their supporting structures and the rehabilitation of the dentition to functional and aesthetic requirements of the individual. Oversee the delivery of dental care services Diagnose, help prevent and treat various disorders of the teeth and gums. Employ treatments to preserve and restore the natural teeth, remove decayed teeth when necessary and provide artificial replacements. Examine teeth and other tissues of the mouth to evaluate dental health utilizing X-rays, diagnostic procedures, and instruments. Perform routine periodic checkups, prepare, and fill cavities, fit bridges and take impressions for crowns and dentures.
