This role offers an exciting opportunity to provide high-quality dental care in a welcoming environment, ensuring patient comfort and satisfaction. The ideal candidate will be energetic, detail-oriented, and possess a strong commitment to excellent patient care. You will be responsible for delivering comprehensive dental services, managing patient assessments, and maintaining precise medical documentation. This position is paid and perfect for a professional eager to make a positive impact during this temporary but vital role. Responsibilities Perform general dentistry procedures including dental examinations, cleanings, fillings, extractions, root canal therapy, and prosthodontics. Conduct thorough patient assessments utilizing dental terminology and medical records to develop personalized treatment plans. Utilize dental imaging technology and maintain aseptic techniques to ensure infection control standards are met. Collaborate with the dental team to deliver four-handed dentistry for efficient patient care. Manage medical documentation accurately in compliance with HIPAA regulations and ensure all records are up-to-date. Assist with oral surgery procedures and provide post-operative care instructions to patients. Use dental office software such as Epic, Eaglesoft, Dentrix, or similar systems for scheduling, charting, and billing purposes. Maintain a clean and organized clinical environment adhering to infection control protocols and safety standards. Experience Proven experience in general dentistry within a busy dental clinic or office setting. Familiarity with pediatric dentistry, endodontics (root canal therapy), prosthodontics, and oral surgery procedures. Knowledge of dental terminology, medical terminology, and anatomy related to oral health. Hands-on experience with dental fabrication techniques and medical imaging tools. Strong understanding of HIPAA compliance, infection control practices, and aseptic technique protocols. Proficiency in using dental practice management software such as Epic, Eaglesoft, Dentrix or comparable programs. Previous experience in pediatric dentistry or working with pediatric patients is highly desirable.
