This role is ideal for a dentist who is passionate about: community health serving underserved populations mentorship and team leadership patient education making a meaningful impact beyond private practice You'll work alongside an experienced dental team providing comprehensive care in a mission-driven public health environment. What You'll Do Provide comprehensive dental care for children and adults
Perform:
preventive dentistry restorative procedures extractions endodontic treatment emergency dental care Develop and present patient treatment plans Educate patients on preventive oral health and long-term dental care Supervise and collaborate with dental hygienists and dental assistants Support clinic operations and maintain high standards of patient care Treat patients from diverse backgrounds, including patients with special needs Maintain accurate electronic dental records and clinical documentation Ensure compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, infection control, and Indiana Dental Law Occasionally support mobile dental services and community outreach efforts What We're Looking For DDS or DMD degree from an accredited dental school Active and unrestricted Indiana Dental License Valid DEA and CSR registrations Current CPR certification Minimum of 3 years of clinical dentistry experience Strong experience in: restorative dentistry treatment planning emergency dentistry patient communication Ability to lead and collaborate with clinical support staff Passion for community health and patient-centered care Nice to Have Experience in: public health dentistry community clinics FQHC settings pediatric dentistry special needs populations Leadership or supervisory experience Bilingual skills Experience working with underserved or high-risk populations Experience with electronic dental records (EDR) Why Join MCPHD Mission-driven work that directly impacts the community Opportunity to serve diverse patient populations Collaborative and supportive dental team Variety in patient care and clinical experiences Public health-focused environment Leadership and mentoring opportunities Stable organization committed to community wellness Work Environment This role may include work across multiple MCPHD dental clinic locations and occasional support for mobile dental operations.
