Job Description

The ideal candidate should have a dental background, radiology certification, initiative and good work ethic. The office is very team oriented and we pride ourselves on excellent patient care. We have a beautiful state of the art facility with hours of 7am-3pm Monday thru Thursday and 7am to 2pm Friday. If you are looking to join a great team we would love to speak with you! Summary As an Oral Surgeon Assistant, you will be an integral part of the dental team, providing chairside assistance and supporting the oral surgeon in various procedures. Your core skills in chairside assisting, dental terminology, and aseptic technique will be essential in ensuring the smooth flow of operations. With premium skills in EMR systems and X-Ray technology, you will contribute to efficient patient care and record-keeping. Your relevant skills in medical/dental documentation will further enhance your ability to assist in a wide range of oral surgery procedures. Pay will be determined based on experience and current certification status. Join our team and be a valuable asset in delivering high-quality oral healthcare services. Responsibilities Assist the oral surgeon during procedures by providing chairside support and anticipating their needs. Utilize knowledge of dental and medical terminology to effectively communicate with the surgical team. Operate 3D scanners for accurate imaging and assisting in proper diagnosis of treatment. Maintain aseptic techniques to ensure a sterile environment and adhere to anatomy knowledge for precise assistance. Handle radiology tasks with certification and support the practice with premium skills like EMR systems and X-Ray procedures.
