Oral Surgeon Kentuckiana Smile Partners Louisville, KY Job Details Part-time 21 hours ago Qualifications Care documentation Clinical case management notes Clinical assessment documentation Doctor of Dentistry DEA License Patient interaction Clinical documentation standards Oral surgery Full Job Description Position Summary Kentuckiana Smile Partners is seeking a Senior-level Oral Surgeon to provide high-quality surgical care onsite in Louisville, KY, one day per week (8:00a-5:00p). This role supports timely access to oral surgery services through consistent clinical coverage and clear coordination with the broader care team. Key responsibilities include evaluating patients, developing treatment plans, performing oral surgery procedures, maintaining complete clinical documentation, and communicating post-operative instructions and follow-up needs.
Required qualifications/skills:
DDS/DMD and completion of an accredited OralMaxillofacial Surgery residency Active Kentucky license (or eligibility) and current DEA registration Strong clinical judgment, patient communication, and documentation standards Ability to work independently in a part-time, 1099 arrangement If you're an experienced Oral Surgeon 1099 who values precision and patient-centered care, we welcome your application. A Typical Clinic Day Your day begins with a focused review of the schedule and any priority cases, followed by room readiness checks with the onsite team. Throughout the day, you'll move between consults and procedures with planned time for charting, imaging review, and patient questions. You'll coordinate handoffs so patients leave with clear expectations for recovery, medications, and next steps. The afternoon typically includes completing documentation, confirming follow-up plans, and a final touchpoint with staff to ensure a smooth close to the day.
