Job Description

About the Position A seasoned, experienced Dentist is sought for a well-established community health organization serving the Greater New Orleans region, specifically at its Gentilly clinic. This organization is one of Louisiana s largest FQHC networks, known for its long-standing commitment to underserved populations, integrated care delivery, and a strong dental residency training program. Providers here benefit from a collaborative environment, modern facilities, and the opportunity to mentor the next generation of clinicians.
Schedule:
Monday Friday, 8:00 AM 5:00
PM Requirements:
Minimum 3+ years of clinical dentistry experience Strong interest in participating as faculty within the dental residency program
Clinical Scope Includes:
Crowns and bridges Extractions and bone grafting Restorative care: fillings Removable prosthodontics: partials and complete dentures Periodontal therapy: deep cleanings Preventive care: cleanings, exams, X-rays, sealants
Endodontics:
root canals Implant placement and restoration Cosmetic services, including bleaching Orthodontic clear aligners About New Orleans, LA New Orleans offers a vibrant mix of culture, history, and community unlike anywhere else in the country. Compensation & Benefits Salary:
$160,000 $185,000 Incentive bonus opportunities Additional stipend for residency faculty participation Full benefits package (medical, dental, vision, etc.) Paid time off and paid holidays 1 week of paid CE time + $1,500 CE allowance Reimbursement for license and DEA renewal Eligibility for federal and state loan repayment programs , thanks to the organization s FQHC status
