Salary Range:
$129,970.00 To $194,955.00 Annually The above posted pay range is for a fully licensed Dentist. Harbor provides medical, behavioral health, dental, and support services to more than 34,000 patients in Boston, the South Shore, and Cape Cod. Harbor Health also operates two Programs for All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly in Mattapan and Brockton. We are seeking a talented Full Time Dentist to join our team at the Harbor Community Health Center in Hyannis, MA. We are particularly seeking a Dentist with Oral Surgery training and/or experience. Role:
The Dentist works within a team to provide dental care for outpatients by focusing on preventive care, oral health, and overall health. The dentist is responsible for diagnosing and treating diseases, injuries, and malformations of the teeth and gums.
Responsibilities:
Determines and implements effective plan of treatment for patient whether it includes impressions for dentures, extracting diseased teeth, repairing cavities, root canals etc. Advises and educates patient about dental health practices. Consults with the managers of other patient services to ensure coordination of services for dental treatment plan of patients. Enters all pertinent and required information into patient medical record in accordance with procedure and practice in a timely and effective manner. During emergency operations may be required to report to work or remain at work. Provides functional supervision of the dental assistants, hygienists, students, externs, and residents as assigned and/or as a designee in the absence of the site Lead Dentist.
Requirements:
D.M.D. or D.D.S. from approved dental school Strongly prefer training and experience in Oral Surgery Current Full MA Dentist License or Limited License eligible 3 years of experience as a Dentist preferred. Current BLS (Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers) Current MCSR and DEA All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability or veteran status. As such, most offers will not be at the top of the salary range. Hours may include evening and Saturday rotation and providing coverage at other Dental site location(s) as needed. 40 hours
