Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Associate Dentist to join our vibrant dental team. In this role, you will deliver high-quality dental care to patients across all age groups, ensuring their oral health and overall well-being are prioritized. Your expertise will help create a welcoming environment where patients feel confident and cared for. The ideal candidate is energetic, detail-oriented, and committed to providing exceptional patient care through comprehensive dental services. You will utilize your skills in general dentistry, pediatric dentistry, oral surgery, and other specialties to improve patients' smiles and health outcomes. Housing is available. Duties Perform comprehensive dental examinations, including patient assessment and medical/dental history review, utilizing dental terminology accurately. Deliver a wide range of treatments such as dental cleanings, restorations, extractions, root canal therapy, prosthodontics, and endodontics while adhering to aseptic techniques and infection control protocols. Conduct oral surgery procedures including dental extractions and other surgical interventions with precision and care. Utilize dental imaging technology to diagnose conditions effectively and develop appropriate treatment plans. Maintain detailed medical records and documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations and ensure accurate medical documentation for each patient visit. Collaborate with team members using four-handed dentistry techniques to optimize patient comfort and procedural efficiency. Educate patients on oral health practices, preventive care, and treatment options using clear communication skills. Ensure compliance with all regulatory standards such as HIPAA, infection control protocols, and medical records management. Stay current with advancements in general dentistry, pediatric dentistry, prosthodontics, endodontics, and related fields to provide innovative care solutions. Experience Proven experience working in a dental office or clinic environment is required; familiarity with both general dentistry and specialized procedures is preferred. Proficiency in dental software systems such as Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix is highly desirable for efficient patient management. Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, medical terminology, and infection control practices is essential. Prior experience performing dental extractions, root canal therapy, prosthodontic procedures, and pediatric dentistry is advantageous. Demonstrated ability to work effectively within a team using four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance workflow. Excellent patient care skills with the ability to assess patient needs thoroughly and communicate treatment plans clearly.
