A program of Catholic Charities Maine, Jessie Albert Dental & Orthodontic Center (JADOC) is a respected clinic with more than 50 years of service, caring for the greater Bath community. One of the few orthodontic centers in Maine that accepts Medicaid, JADOC shares the mission of Catholic Charities Maine to bring help and hope to Maine's most vulnerable. About the Role As the sole orthodontist in the combined dental/orthodontic practice, you will be responsible for diagnosis and treatment planning for the orthodontic patients in our center. In addition to our experienced practice manager and front-desk staff, who handle all paperwork and administrative tasks, you will have a team of well-trained assistants. A retired orthodontist is available to provide consulting/mentoring as needed, ensuring you have experienced support and continuity of care from day one. Compensation & Benefits Competitive salary: $350,000-$400,000 , commensurate with experience and qualifications. Medical and dental insurance, short- and long-term disability, life insurance, and 401(k) with 3% match Generous time off and paid holidays Malpractice insurance reimbursement DEA license reimbursement State license reimbursement Continuing education allowance Loan repayment: This position may qualify for the Maine Dental Education Loan Repayment Program for providers serving in a Dental Health Professional Shortage Area (verify eligibility) Pay Range Disclosure In accordance with Maine law (26 M.R.S.A. § 622-A, effective July 29, 2026), the prospective range of pay for this position is $350,000-$400,000 . Actual compensation depends on experience and qualifications.
