In this vital role, you will provide comprehensive dental care to patients of all ages, ensuring optimal oral health and enhancing smiles through expert diagnosis, treatment planning, and patient education. Duties Perform general dentistry procedures including dental examinations, cleanings, fillings, crowns, bridges, and prosthodontics Conduct oral surgeries such as extractions and biopsies with precision and care Diagnose dental conditions using medical imaging and clinical assessments, adhering to healthcare diagnosis standards Utilize dental software systems like Epic, Eaglesoft, Dentrix for charting, scheduling, and medical documentation Implement infection control protocols and aseptic techniques to ensure patient safety and comply with HIPAA and state healthcare regulations Educate patients on oral hygiene practices, treatment options, and preventive care strategies Collaborate with dental hygienists, assistants, and specialists to deliver comprehensive patient care in a fast-paced environment Maintain accurate medical records, document procedures thoroughly, and ensure compliance with all medical documentation standards Assist in dental fabrication processes such as prosthodontics restorations when needed Stay updated on advancements in pediatric dentistry, endodontics (root canal therapy), oral surgery, anesthesiology for pain management, and other specialties Qualifications Valid state dental license with current certification to practice dentistry Proven experience in general dentistry with proficiency in pediatric dentistry and oral surgery procedures Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, infection control practices, and medical imaging techniques Familiarity with dental practice management software including Epic (for healthcare integration), Eaglesoft, Dentrix or similar systems Ability to perform dental extractions, root canal therapy, prosthodontic work and other complex procedures confidently Excellent patient care skills with a compassionate approach to diverse patient populations including pediatrics Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and state healthcare laws governing medical records and patient privacy Experience working in a dental clinic or healthcare setting emphasizing infection control and aseptic technique Strong communication skills for effective patient assessment and team collaboration Join us to be part of a vibrant team committed to delivering outstanding dental care!
