In this role, you will deliver comprehensive dental care, ensuring optimal oral health and patient satisfaction. Responsibilities Perform a wide range of dental procedures including dental examinations, cleanings, fillings, root canal therapy, extractions, prosthodontics, and endodontics. Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical and dental history reviews, oral examinations, and diagnostic imaging using advanced medical imaging tools. Develop personalized treatment plans based on patient needs, ensuring clear communication of procedures and expected outcomes. Maintain accurate and detailed medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations and office protocols. Utilize dental terminology effectively to explain diagnoses and treatment options to patients of all ages, including pediatrics. Apply aseptic techniques and infection control protocols rigorously to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff. Collaborate with the dental team using four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency and patient comfort. Stay current with the latest advancements in general dentistry, pediatric dentistry, oral surgery, and related fields through ongoing education. Ensure compliance with all medical records policies and maintain confidentiality at all times. Requirements Valid state dental license with eligibility to practice as a Dentist. Proven experience in general dentistry with a strong background in pediatric dentistry preferred. Proficiency in dental software such as Epic, Eaglesoft, Dentrix or similar systems for charting and medical documentation. Knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, medical terminology, and infection control standards. Hands-on experience with dental fabrication techniques and dental office operations. Ability to perform dental extractions, root canal therapy, prosthodontics procedures, and oral surgeries confidently. Familiarity with HIPAA regulations to ensure patient privacy and data security. Excellent communication skills to educate patients about their oral health care options effectively. Strong attention to detail for accurate record keeping and medical documentation.
