ABOUT THE POSITION
Growing private dental practice is seeking a General Dentist for immediate employment. We are looking for a dentist with good chairside manner and with good communication and listening skills. Your responsibilities will be to deliver: Offer patient centered care: give several options, including 'do-nothing', explain risks for options including 'do-nothing', and explain in terms which allow properly informed consent. Understand and deliver CD (Complete Dentures)/RPD (Removable Partial Dentures) prosthetics with follow up appointments. Prepare teeth for and deliver crown and bridge Single canal endo Simple Extractions Hygiene checks Pulp vitality tests Complete COE(Comprehensive Oral Exam)/POE (Periodic Oral exam)/LOE (Limited Oral Exam) exams Same day treatment of emergencies You can refer all "red-light" cases including high anxiety patients We service mostly adult patients (above 40 years old) in 2 (soon to be 3) treatment rooms, with the help of 2 hygienists, 3 assistants, and front desk staff, using all up-to-date digital equipment. As we expand, a newer building with more space is being renovated nearby and is expected to be in service in August. This office is a hidden gem. The staff and patient population are very easy to get along with. The income potential with only basic dentistry is substantially higher than most offices. Patient population is very amicable and accepts care without needing a sales pitch. You can refer or decline to treat patients if the patient is overly anxious or the outcome will be better achieved by a specialist. Dental assistants are well trained and many tasks can be delegated to them, optimizing the dentist's time toward being a dentist. Why you should come work for us: Low stress environment especially when compared to DSOs. The town is very cozy with an abundance of outdoor activities in the summer and winter.
