Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Oral Surgeon to join our team at Twin Cities Children's Surgery Center in Maplewood, MN. This role involves performing a variety of oral surgical procedures with an emphasis on pediatric patients under sedation. The ideal candidate will have experience in the pediatric dental space and a commitment to providing the highest standard of care in an outpatient surgical setting.

Responsibilities:

Perform oral and maxillofacial surgery procedures including extractions, dental implants, corrective jaw surgery, and treatment of facial injuries and infections, primarily in pediatric patients. Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team of dental professionals and anesthesiologists to ensure a safe and positive experience for patients. Manage sedation and anesthesia protocols in compliance with best practices and safety standards. Provide pre-operative consultations and post-operative care to patients and their families. Maintain accurate patient records and ensure adherence to all relevant health and safety regulations. Foster a compassionate, professional, and patient-centric environment.

Qualifications:

DMD or DDS degree from an accredited institution. Completion of an accredited oral and maxillofacial surgery residency program. Board Certified or Board Eligible in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. Experience with pediatric sedation dentistry required. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment. Active state licensure in Michigan and other necessary certifications (e.g., ACLS, BLS). Passion for providing excellent care to pediatric patients.
