In this role, you will provide comprehensive dental care to patients of all ages, ensuring optimal oral health and a positive patient experience. Your expertise will help transform smiles while adhering to the highest standards of clinical excellence, infection control, and patient safety. Duties Perform thorough patient assessments, including dental examinations and medical history reviews, to develop personalized treatment plans. Deliver a wide range of dental services such as general dentistry procedures, dental extractions, root canal therapy, prosthodontics, and endodontics. Utilize dental imaging technology and maintain accurate medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Execute aseptic techniques and infection control protocols to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff. Collaborate with dental assistants in four-handed dentistry to optimize patient comfort and procedural efficiency. Educate patients on oral health maintenance, treatment options, and preventive care strategies. Maintain detailed medical records using practice management software such as Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix. Ensure compliance with all dental office policies, including HIPAA privacy standards and medical documentation procedures. Skills Proficiency in dental terminology, medical terminology, and anatomy knowledge relevant to oral health. Strong experience with dental office software platforms like Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix. Expertise in pediatric dentistry, oral surgery, endodontics (including root canal therapy), prosthodontics, and dental fabrication techniques. Excellent patient care skills with the ability to assess patient needs accurately and deliver compassionate service. Knowledge of infection control practices and aseptic techniques essential for maintaining a sterile environment. Ability to perform dental extractions and other surgical procedures safely and efficiently. Familiarity with medical imaging technology for diagnostic purposes. Understanding of HIPAA regulations related to patient privacy and data security. Effective communication skills to explain treatment plans clearly to patients of diverse backgrounds.
