Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Associate Dentist to join our vibrant dental team. In this role, you will deliver high-quality dental care to patients across a broad spectrum of needs, ensuring their oral health and confidence are prioritized. Your expertise will help create a welcoming environment where patients feel comfortable and cared for, while you utilize your skills in general dentistry and specialized procedures. Duties Perform comprehensive dental examinations, including patient assessment and diagnosis using medical and dental terminology. Provide a wide range of treatments such as dental restorations, extractions, root canal therapy, prosthodontics, and oral surgery with precision and care. Utilize dental imaging techniques and maintain accurate medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA and state healthcare regulations. Apply aseptic techniques and infection control protocols to ensure patient safety during all procedures. Collaborate with the dental team to deliver four-handed dentistry, enhancing efficiency and patient comfort. Educate patients on oral health maintenance, treatment options, and post-procedure care to promote long-term wellness. Maintain detailed medical records using practice management software such as Epic, Eaglesoft, Dentrix, or similar platforms. Skills Proficiency in dental office experience and familiarity with dental fabrication processes. Strong knowledge of anatomy, medical imaging, and infection control practices essential for safe procedures. Expertise in endodontics (root canals), prosthodontics (crowns, bridges), and oral surgery procedures like extractions. Ability to interpret healthcare diagnosis and medical terminology accurately. Experience with pediatric dentistry is highly desirable, along with the ability to handle pediatric patients effectively. Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and state healthcare laws to ensure confidentiality and compliance.
