Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic dental team as a Pediatric Dentist, where your expertise will transform young patients' smiles and foster lifelong oral health habits. Duties 1099 IC Part-time position 2 days per week. Provide specialized dental treatments for pediatric patients, including preventive care, restorative procedures, and oral health education Perform dental examinations, assessments, and diagnoses using appropriate medical and dental terminology Conduct dental procedures such as dental extractions, root canal therapy, and oral surgery with precision and aseptic technique Utilize digital imaging and other medical imaging tools to evaluate oral health status accurately Collaborate with the dental team to develop individualized treatment plans aligned with best practices in pediatric dentistry Maintain detailed medical records and documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations and office protocols Educate young patients and their guardians on proper oral hygiene practices, diet, and preventive measures Skills Proven experience in pediatric dentistry with strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, and infection control protocols Proficiency with dental practice management software such as Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix Skilled in general dentistry procedures including dental fabrication, prosthodontics, endodontics, and dental extractions Ability to perform oral surgery procedures safely while adhering to aseptic techniques Excellent patient care skills with the ability to assess patient needs effectively in pediatrics settings Familiarity with medical terminology relevant to pediatric patients and medical records management Strong understanding of HIPAA compliance standards and medical documentation requirements Experience working in a fast-paced dental clinic environment with a focus on infection control and patient safety Embark on a rewarding career where your expertise directly impacts children's health!
