Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and highly skilled General Dentist to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will possess a comprehensive understanding of general dentistry practices, demonstrate excellent patient care skills, and have experience working in a fast-paced dental clinic environment. As a General Dentist, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive dental services, ensuring patient comfort, and maintaining the highest standards of clinical excellence. Your expertise will contribute to improving oral health outcomes and fostering positive patient relationships. Duties Perform comprehensive dental examinations, including patient assessment and diagnosis using medical imaging and dental terminology. Deliver a wide range of dental treatments such as dental restorations, extractions, root canal therapy, prosthodontics, and endodontics with precision and care. Utilize advanced dental software systems like Open Dental for scheduling, documentation, and medical records management. Implement infection control protocols and aseptic techniques to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff. Collaborate with specialists on complex cases involving oral surgery or pediatric dentistry to provide integrated patient care. Educate patients on oral health maintenance, preventive care, and treatment options to promote long-term dental wellness. Maintain accurate medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations while ensuring confidentiality of patient records. Stay current with advancements in general dentistry practices, including dental fabrication techniques and new treatment modalities. Requirements Valid dental license to practice in the respective jurisdiction with current certification. Proven experience in general dentistry within a clinical or dental office setting; prior dental clinic experience is preferred. Proficiency in using dental practice management software Open Dental Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, infection control procedures, and medical imaging techniques. Demonstrated expertise in performing dental extractions, root canal therapy, prosthodontics, and endodontics procedures. Ability to communicate effectively with diverse patient populations including pediatrics; pediatric dentistry experience is advantageous. Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and best practices for medical documentation and patient confidentiality. Excellent patient care skills with an emphasis on comfort, safety, and professional ethics.
