Job Description
Overview Join our dynamic dental team as an Associate Dentist and play a vital role in delivering exceptional oral healthcare to our diverse patient community. This energetic position offers the opportunity to utilize your clinical expertise, foster patient relationships, and contribute to a welcoming, professional environment. You will be instrumental in providing comprehensive dental services, ensuring patient comfort, and maintaining the highest standards of care. Duties Perform a wide range of general dentistry procedures including examinations, cleanings, fillings, crowns, and prosthodontics. Conduct patient assessments to determine treatment needs and develop personalized care plans. Execute dental extractions, root canal therapy, and other oral surgeries with precision and aseptic technique. Utilize dental imaging tools and medical documentation systems such as Epic, Eaglesoft, Dentrix to record and manage patient records accurately. Apply infection control protocols in accordance with HIPAA regulations and industry best practices to ensure patient safety. Collaborate with dental assistants in four-handed dentistry to enhance efficiency and patient comfort. Educate patients on oral health maintenance, treatment options, and post-procedure care using clear dental terminology. Experience Proven experience in general dentistry with a strong background in pediatric dentistry, endodontics, prosthodontics, and oral surgery. Familiarity with dental office management software including Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix is highly desirable. Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and medical imaging techniques relevant to dental practice. Prior experience working in a busy dental clinic or healthcare environment demonstrating excellent patient care skills. Understanding of infection control standards, HIPAA compliance, and medical documentation procedures. Ability to perform dental fabrication tasks and handle complex procedures such as root canal therapy confidently.
