Associate General Dentist

Duties Perform a wide range of dental procedures including examinations, cleanings, fillings, crowns, bridges, root canal therapy, extractions, and prosthodontic treatments with precision and care Conduct thorough patient assessments utilizing dental terminology and medical records to develop personalized treatment plans Utilize dental imaging technology and medical imaging techniques to diagnose oral health issues accurately Maintain strict infection control protocols and aseptic techniques to ensure patient safety and comply with HIPAA regulations Collaborate with dental assistants in four-handed dentistry practices to enhance efficiency and patient comfort Document all procedures meticulously within electronic health records systems such as Dentrix or similar platforms Educate patients on oral hygiene practices, treatment options, and preventive care strategies tailored to pediatric dentistry and general dentistry needs Ensure compliance with all medical and dental regulations including HIPAA standards for patient confidentiality and medical documentation Assist in dental fabrication processes when necessary for crowns or prosthetic devices Stay updated on advancements in dental terminology, techniques, and materials to provide the highest quality of care Experience Proven experience working in a dental clinic or dental office environment with a strong background in general dentistry Prior experience performing dental extractions, root canal therapy (endodontics), prosthodontics procedures, and oral surgery preferred Familiarity with dental software such as Dentrix or equivalent is highly desirable Knowledge of pediatric dentistry principles and practices for treating children effectively Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly with patients of all ages while maintaining professionalism and empathy Understanding of infection control standards, aseptic techniques, and medical imaging procedures necessary for safe practice Experience working with diverse patient populations including pediatrics is a plus Join our team where your expertise will make a meaningful difference!
