Duties Perform comprehensive dental examinations, including patient assessment and diagnosis using dental terminology and medical imaging techniques. Deliver a full spectrum of general dentistry services such as dental restorations, root canal therapy, dental extractions, prosthodontics, and endodontics. Conduct oral surgery procedures with precision, adhering to aseptic techniques and infection control protocols. Utilize dental office software systems like Dentrix for accurate medical documentation and medical records management. Collaborate with patients to develop personalized treatment plans that prioritize their oral health and comfort. Maintain strict compliance with HIPAA regulations to ensure patient confidentiality and data security. Implement infection control standards and sterilization procedures to uphold safety in the dental clinic environment. Stay current with advancements in pediatric dentistry, pediatric care, and general dentistry practices to enhance service quality. Educate patients on oral health maintenance, preventive care, and post-treatment instructions to promote long-term wellness. Qualifications Valid state licensure as a General Dentist with current licensing credentials. Proven experience in dental office settings or dental clinics, demonstrating proficiency in general dentistry procedures. Strong knowledge of dental terminology, medical terminology, anatomy, and medical imaging techniques. Experience with dental fabrication processes and performing dental extractions with confidence. Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems such as Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix is highly preferred. Expertise in pediatric dentistry and pediatric patient care is a plus. Ability to perform root canal therapy and prosthodontic procedures effectively. Knowledge of infection control practices and aseptic techniques essential for safe practice. Excellent communication skills to explain treatment options clearly and compassionately to patients of all ages.
