Eligibility:

Requirements:
Preferred 5+ years of experience D.D.S. from an accredited education institution Current license to practice dentistry in the state of Ohio CPR Required GPR or AEGD is preferred Comfortable working in a high-volume environment Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and other
Qualifications:
Commitment to preventive dental care Demonstrated success in working independently, prioritization and problem solving Proficiency in knowledge of office management, use of computer, software packages, and office machines Knowledge of federal, state, and location regulations and standards associated with the delivery of care in a community health care environment Knowledge/interest in providing care to diverse patient population Written and oral bilingual fluency in language spoken by our patient population (for example, English/Spanish or English/Polish) strongly preferred. Major Areas of Responsibility Patient Care & Treatment Improve patient well-being through accurate, timely diagnoses and high-quality dental treatment Deliver competent, accurate dental care to all assigned patients Provide routine and emergency dental services, including: Diagnosis and treatment planning General restorative procedures Crown and bridge work Removable prosthetics Uncomplicated endodontics Minor oral surgery Initiate and interpret X-rays and lab studies Administer and prescribe anesthetics and medications Conduct follow-up patient care Referrals & Collaboration Refer patients for specialty care to internal programs or external agencies as appropriate Supervise Dental Assistants and Dental Hygienists Build and maintain positive, collaborative relationships with dentists and dental staff Support clinic operations through teamwork and collaboration with all staff Patient Education & Community Involvement Provide dental and oral health education to patients and families Teach and train patients and staff on illness prevention Actively participate in community dental programs Operations & Productivity Assist in reviewing clinic productivity, scheduling procedures, and establishing care guidelines Meet or exceed all measurable standards of care, including clinical quality and productivity goals Assist with in-service and ongoing training of clinic staff Compliance & Documentation Ensure accurate, efficient, and confidential patient charting and recordkeeping Maintain compliance with all regulatory, accreditation, and professional standards Follow all policies, quality initiatives, and contracted protocols related to dental services Professionalism & Relationships Develop and maintain positive relationships with patients and their families Ensure all patient services are delivered in a caring and professional manner Build strong relationships with vendors, contractors, and payor sources Represent the organization professionally in all actions, communication, and conduct Organizational Commitment Uphold all corporate policies, procedures, mission, and values Demonstrate continuous growth in cultural competency, with respect for diversity and inclusion
