Job Summary Join our dynamic dental team as an Associate Dentist, where your expertise will transform smiles and improve lives! Duties Perform thorough patient assessments, including oral examinations, medical history reviews, and dental imaging procedures using advanced technology such as digital X-rays. Deliver a wide range of general dentistry treatments, including dental cleanings, fillings, crowns, bridges, and prosthodontics procedures. Conduct complex procedures such as dental extractions, root canal therapy (endodontics), and oral surgeries with precision and aseptic technique. Utilize dental terminology accurately to communicate diagnoses and treatment options clearly to patients. Ensure meticulous medical documentation and maintain comprehensive medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Apply infection control protocols diligently to safeguard patient health and prevent cross-contamination. Collaborate with team members in four-handed dentistry practices to optimize workflow efficiency and patient comfort. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices, preventive care strategies, and post-treatment instructions to promote long-term oral health. Requirements Valid state license to practice dentistry as an Associate Dentist with current certification in general dentistry. Proven experience working in a dental clinic or dental office environment; familiarity with dental office software such as Epic, Eaglesoft, Dentrix is highly preferred. Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, medical terminology, and infection control standards. Hands-on experience performing dental extractions, root canal therapy (endodontics), prosthodontics, and pediatric dentistry procedures. Proficiency in utilizing medical imaging equipment and interpreting results for accurate diagnosis. Ability to communicate effectively with diverse patient populations, including pediatrics; experience in pediatric dentistry is a plus. Commitment to maintaining HIPAA compliance and safeguarding patient confidentiality at all times. Excellent organizational skills for managing medical documentation and records efficiently. Demonstrated ability to work well within a team environment practicing four-handed dentistry techniques for seamless patient care delivery.
