Job Description

Dover Dental Clinic is seeking a dedicated and skilled Associate General Dentist to join our our practice by December 2026. Your expertise in general dentistry, combined with your ability to perform specialized procedures, will contribute to creating a welcoming environment where patients feel confident and cared for. This position offers an exciting opportunity to utilize your clinical skills while fostering long-term patient relationships in a fast-paced, supportive setting. Responsibilities Perform a wide range of dental procedures including examinations, cleanings, restorations, extractions, root canal therapy, and prosthodontics with precision and care Conduct thorough patient assessments by reviewing medical and dental histories, taking diagnostic images, and evaluating oral health conditions Utilize dental terminology effectively to communicate diagnoses and treatment plans clearly to patients and team members Apply aseptic techniques and infection control protocols to maintain a safe and sterile environment in compliance with HIPAA regulations Manage medical documentation accurately within electronic health record Collaborate with dental specialists for complex cases involving oral surgery or pediatric dentistry when necessary Educate patients on oral hygiene practices, treatment options, and preventive care strategies to promote lifelong dental health Skills Strong knowledge of dentistry principles and procedures for treating patients effectively Experience performing dental extractions, root canal therapy, and other endodontic procedures with confidence Ability to perform four-handed dentistry efficiently to optimize patient comfort and clinical productivity Excellent understanding of dental terminology, medical terminology, anatomy knowledge, and medical imaging techniques Skilled in infection control practices and aseptic techniques to ensure patient safety at all times Familiarity with dental fabrication processes for crowns or bridges when applicable Prior experience working in a busy dental clinic or office environment that emphasizes patient care excellence We can't wait to add another smiling, motivated, and growing member to our team!
