Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dentist to join our dental practice on a part-time basis. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing high-quality patient care and a strong background in various dental procedures. This role involves working with patients of all ages, including pediatric dentistry, and requires proficiency in both general and specialized dental practices. The Dentist will be responsible for diagnosing and treating dental issues, performing oral surgeries, and ensuring compliance with health regulations. Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to determine oral health needs Perform a variety of dental procedures including general dentistry, endodontics, prosthodontics, and oral surgery Execute dental extractions and root canal therapy with precision Utilize four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance patient comfort and efficiency Maintain accurate medical documentation and medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations Implement infection control protocols and aseptic techniques during all procedures Collaborate with dental hygienists and assistants to deliver optimal patient care Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and preventive care strategies Stay updated on advancements in dental technology and techniques Qualifications Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree from an accredited institution Valid state dental license to practice dentistry Proficiency in dental software such as Open Dental is a plus Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, and medical terminology Experience in pediatric dentistry is a plus Previous experience in a dental office or clinic setting is highly desirable Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients and staff Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment Join our team where you can make a significant impact on the lives of our patients through exceptional dental care. Pay:
$50,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
