Responsibilities Perform a wide range of general dentistry procedures, including examinations, cleanings, fillings, crowns, bridges, extractions, Invisalign, implants, endodontics. Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical and dental history reviews, to develop personalized treatment plans. Utilize dental terminology accurately to communicate diagnoses and treatment options clearly to patients. Administer local anesthesia and perform oral surgeries such as tooth extractions with precision and aseptic technique. Apply endodontic procedures like root canal therapy and prosthodontic treatments to restore oral function. Maintain detailed medical documentation and dental records in compliance with HIPAA regulations and clinic policies. Collaborate with team members using four-handed dentistry techniques to optimize patient care efficiency and comfort. Use dental imaging tools effectively for diagnosis and treatment planning while adhering to infection control standards. Stay current with advancements in pediatric dentistry, oral surgery, and other specialties to enhance patient outcomes. Experience Proven experience working in a dental office or clinic setting, demonstrating proficiency in general dentistry procedures. Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, infection control protocols, and medical documentation practices. Prior experience performing dental extractions, root canal therapy, prosthodontics, and endodontic procedures is advantageous. Excellent patient care skills with the ability to assess patient needs compassionately while maintaining professionalism. Knowledge of HIPAA regulations related to medical records confidentiality and privacy standards. Ability to work efficiently within a team environment using four-handed dentistry techniques for optimal patient flow.
