Job Description

We are currently seeking a part-time board-certified periodontist associate to join our dynamic, high-paced private practice. This position is on a contractual basis, with an ideal commitment of approximately 30 hours per month. While we offer some flexibility in scheduling, we are looking for a candidate who is dedicated, driven, and compassionate. The role of the periodontist involves a diverse range of periodontal and surgical procedures. The successful candidate must be capable of performing all periodontal surgeries, perio-involved oral surgeries, and implant surgeries. Effective communication of treatment plans and the delivery of high standards of care with a warm, nurturing, and professional chairside manner are essential. Experience with oral sedation is considered a plus.
Responsibilities:
Conduct periodontal examinations and diagnose oral conditions Develop comprehensive treatment plans and administer periodontal therapy to patients Execute surgical procedures, including gum grafts, crown lengthening, and dental implant placement Collaborate with general dentists and other specialists to ensure coordinated patient care
Experience:
Proficiency in using dental software systems such as Eaglesoft or equivalent Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and dental procedures Ability to assess patient conditions and formulate appropriate treatment plans Proficient in medical documentation and maintaining accurate records Familiarity with medical imaging techniques for diagnosis and treatment planning Knowledge of aseptic technique and infection control protocols
Qualifications:
