Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Pediatric Dentist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in pediatric dentistry, with a passion for delivering exceptional patient care and fostering positive dental experiences for children. As a Pediatric Dentist, you will be responsible for diagnosing, treating, and managing dental health issues in pediatric patients while ensuring adherence to safety and infection control standards. Responsibilities Perform comprehensive dental examinations and assessments tailored to pediatric patients, utilizing appropriate medical and dental terminology. Provide preventive care, including fluoride treatments and sealants, to promote oral health in children. Conduct dental procedures such as restorations, extractions, root canal therapy, and other necessary treatments with precision and care. Utilize dental imaging techniques and maintain accurate medical documentation and dental records in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Collaborate with the dental team to develop individualized treatment plans that address each child's specific needs. Ensure strict adherence to infection control protocols and aseptic techniques during all procedures. Educate patients and their guardians on oral hygiene practices, dietary recommendations, and overall dental health maintenance. Maintain proficiency in using practice management software such as Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix to streamline patient care processes. Experience Candidates should possess a valid state license in dentistry with specialization or extensive experience in pediatric dentistry. Prior experience working in a dental clinic or office setting is highly preferred. The ideal applicant will have demonstrated expertise in general dentistry procedures, including dental extractions, endodontics (root canal therapy), prosthodontics, and oral surgery within a pediatric context. Knowledge of medical terminology, medical imaging, anatomy relevant to pediatric patients, and infection control practices is essential. Experience with dental fabrication processes and proficiency in handling medical documentation are also desirable skills for this role.
