This position offers an exciting opportunity to utilize your expertise in oral surgery, pediatric dentistry, and related specialties to improve patient outcomes and enhance quality of life. You will be responsible for performing complex surgical interventions, managing patient assessments, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to provide exceptional care in a fast-paced, supportive environment. Responsibilities Perform a wide range of oral and maxillofacial surgeries including dental extractions, reconstructive procedures, and implant placements with precision and care Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical history review, clinical examinations, and diagnostic imaging interpretation to develop effective treatment plans Manage preoperative preparations and ensure adherence to aseptic techniques and infection control protocols to maintain patient safety Utilize dental terminology accurately while documenting medical records, surgical procedures, and treatment outcomes in compliance with HIPAA regulations Collaborate with general dentists, pediatric dentists, prosthodontists, endodontists, and other specialists to coordinate comprehensive patient care Apply advanced skills in oral surgery, including root canal therapy, dental fabrication, and management of complex cases involving facial trauma or pathology Demonstrate proficiency in dental office software such as Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix for scheduling, record keeping, and medical documentation Maintain up-to-date knowledge of anatomy, medical terminology, medical imaging techniques, and infection control standards to ensure high-quality service delivery Qualifications Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from an accredited institution with valid licensure to practice dentistry Proven experience in oral surgery or maxillofacial procedures within a dental clinic or hospital setting Strong understanding of dental terminology, medical terminology, and anatomy relevant to oral and facial structures Proficiency in dental office management software such as Epic, Eaglesoft or Dentrix preferred Knowledge of pediatric dentistry practices is desirable; experience working with pediatric patients is a plus Excellent patient care skills with the ability to assess patient needs accurately and communicate effectively Commitment to infection control standards including aseptic technique and HIPAA compliance Ability to perform dental extractions, root canal therapy, prosthodontics procedures, and other advanced surgical interventions confidently Join us in delivering exceptional surgical care that transforms lives!
