This role offers an exciting opportunity for experienced professionals passionate about providing exceptional oral surgical care in a fast-paced, patient-focused environment. As an integral part of our clinic, you will perform a variety of oral surgical procedures, ensuring optimal patient outcomes while maintaining the highest standards of safety, infection control, and patient care. This position is ideal for professionals looking to make a meaningful impact while enjoying flexible scheduling and a collaborative work atmosphere. Duties Perform comprehensive oral surgical procedures including dental extractions, root canal therapy, and dental implant placements with precision and care Assess patient needs through thorough medical and dental history reviews, physical examinations, and diagnostic imaging such as X-rays and CT scans Collaborate with the dental team to develop individualized treatment plans that align with patient goals and clinical best practices Maintain detailed and accurate medical records, treatment notes, and documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations and state healthcare laws Ensure strict adherence to infection control protocols, aseptic techniques, and sterilization procedures to safeguard patient health Utilize dental software systems such as Epic, Eaglesoft, Dentrix for scheduling, documentation, and treatment planning purposes Educate patients on pre-operative preparations, post-operative care instructions, and overall oral health maintenance Experience Proven experience in oral surgery within a dental clinic or healthcare setting with familiarity in general dentistry procedures Demonstrated proficiency in dental terminology, medical terminology, and healthcare diagnosis processes Hands-on experience with dental fabrication techniques and prosthodontics is a plus Knowledge of pediatric dentistry principles and experience working with pediatric patients is highly desirable Skilled in four-handed dentistry techniques to optimize efficiency during procedures Familiarity with dental imaging technology and anatomy knowledge relevant to oral surgical interventions Prior experience working with electronic health records (EHR) systems such as Epic or Dentrix is preferred Join us if you're passionate about delivering top-tier patient care through advanced oral surgical techniques!
