Job Description
Overview We are seeking a General Dentist / Prosthodontist/Periodontist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive dental care, comfort placibg/restoring implants, ensuring patient comfort, and maintaining the highest standards of clinical excellence. Must be comfortable treating adults and children. Available atleast 1 weekend per month. This role offers an opportunity to work in a collaborative environment utilizing advanced dental technology and fostering positive patient relationships. The Dentist will play a vital role in delivering exceptional oral health services across a diverse patient population, including pediatric and general dentistry cases. Responsibilities Perform comprehensive dental examinations, assessments, and diagnoses using advanced medical imaging and dental terminology. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients, including procedures such as dental extractions, root canal therapy, prosthodontics, and endodontics. Conduct various dental procedures with proficiency in four-handed dentistry, aseptic technique, and infection control protocols to ensure patient safety. Utilize electronic health records systems such as Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix to document medical and dental histories accurately while maintaining HIPAA compliance. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices, treatment options, and post-procedure care to promote optimal oral health outcomes. Collaborate with dental assistants and staff to ensure efficient clinic operations and exceptional patient care. Stay current with advancements in dentistry by participating in ongoing professional development and adhering to industry standards. Experience Proven experience working in a dental clinic or dental office environment with familiarity in general dentistry procedures. Prior experience with pediatric dentistry, oral surgery, endodontics, prosthodontics, or related specialties is preferred. Proficiency in using dental practice management software such as Eaglesoft or Dentrix is highly desirable. Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, infection control practices, and medical documentation standards. Experience performing dental fabrication tasks and utilizing medical imaging tools is advantageous. Demonstrated ability to provide patient care with compassion and professionalism while adhering to HIPAA regulations.
