General Dentist Associate

Responsibilities:

• Perform dental procedures such as fillings, extractions, and root canals
• Conduct oral examinations and develop treatment plans for patients
• Administer anesthetics to patients to minimize pain during procedures
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and preventative dental care
• Interpret diagnostic tests such as X-rays and CT scans
• Collaborate with dental hygienists and assistants to provide comprehensive patient care
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records

Requirements:

• Valid license to practice dentistry in the state
• Knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy
• Proficiency in dental imaging techniques and software (Epic, Eaglesoft)
• Familiarity with infection control protocols and aseptic technique
• Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations and patient privacy rights
• Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients and staff
• Ability to assess patient needs and provide appropriate treatment options
