Job Description
Overview Miami Dade College is seeking a qualified Dialysis Technician Test Preparation Instructor to provide remediation and certification exam review for individuals preparing for the Certified Clinical Hemodialysis Technician (CCHT) exam. This course focuses on reinforcing essential dialysis concepts, patient care principles, and test-taking strategies to support student success on certification exams. Duties Deliver structured test preparation and remediation instruction for dialysis certification candidates Provide exam-focused review sessions and practice assessments Support students with test-taking strategies and content mastery Track attendance and student progress Maintain a supportive, workforce-focused learning environment Experience Current Certified Clinical Hemodialysis Technician (CCHT) credential through the Board of Nephrology Examiners Nursing and Technology OR Registered Nurse (RN) with dialysis/nephrology experience or higher nephrology credential (CNN, CDN, or equivalent) Minimum of three (3) years of dialysis or renal care experience in a clinical or outpatient setting Strong knowledge of hemodialysis procedures, patient care, and safety standards Ability to teach adult learners in a test preparation environment Preferred Qualifications Prior teaching, preceptor, or clinical education experience Experience preparing candidates for CCHT or related certification exams Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related healthcare field Schedule Flexible weekday day classes (e.g., 8:00 AM - 3:45 PM) Flexible weekday evening classes (e.g., 5:30 PM - 9:30 PM) Weekend classes available (Saturday or Sunday sessions) Schedule varies based on enrollment This role is perfect for passionate professionals eager to share their expertise while fostering the growth of future healthcare heroes.
