Job description: Dialysis Experience is required. Active OCDT is required Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dialysis Technician to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in providing high-quality dialysis care to patients with kidney failure. This position offers an opportunity to work in a supportive environment focused on patient well-being and clinical excellence. The role involves operating dialysis equipment, monitoring patient health, and ensuring adherence to safety and hygiene standards. Candidates should possess strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology, along with excellent aseptic techniques to maintain a sterile environment during procedures. Responsibilities Set up, operate, and monitor dialysis machines according to established protocols. Assess patient condition before, during, and after dialysis treatments, including vital signs and overall well-being. Maintain strict aseptic technique to prevent infection and ensure patient safety throughout procedures. Educate patients about the dialysis process, including pre- and post-treatment care instructions. Document treatment details accurately in patient records, including any observations or concerns. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized treatment plans. Ensure all equipment is properly maintained, cleaned, and sterilized following infection control guidelines. Assist in emergency situations by responding promptly and effectively to patient needs or adverse reactions. Qualifications Prior experience or training in Dialysis or related medical fields is required Strong knowledge of physiology and anatomy relevant to renal function and dialysis procedures. Familiarity with medical terminology used in nephrology and dialysis settings. Proficiency in aseptic technique to maintain sterile environments during treatments. Excellent communication skills for patient education and team collaboration. Ability to work effectively under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
