BSA Hospital is a 445-bed hospital serving the Amarillo area for over 120 years and continues to be Amarillo?s preferred healthcare provider. At BSA, our mission is to provide quality healthcare in Christian love, service, and dignity. Responsibilities The Dialysis Technician is responsible for providing technical and supportive care to patients undergoing hemodialysis treatment. They work under the supervision of registered nurses and nephrologists to ensure that dialysis procedures are performed safely and effectively. The Dialysis Technician is also tasked with monitoring patients during treatment, maintaining dialysis equipment, and ensuring a clean and sterile environment in the dialysis unit.
Qualifications Job Requirements:
High School or GED. 1+ years' experience in a dialysis setting. Certification as a Dialysis Technician- CHT- Certified Hemodialysis Technician BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.
Preferred Job Requirements:
Completion of a dialysis technician training program.
