6/4/2026 Our Dialysis Unit has 55 beds and 230 employees; the Dialysis unit at MD Anderson provides patient focused care through a multidisciplinary team approach. Quality and patient outcomes are at the heart of our practice. The ICU team participates in Evidence Based Practice, unit and hospital-based committees, and local and national conferences. Ideal candidate will have a High School Diploma and Certified Hemodialysis Technician with at least 2 years of Dialysis experience.
Working Hours:
The working hours will be Day shift - 10 hrs. per shift , alternating weekends and holidays. At MD Anderson, we offer careers built on care, growth, and balance. Job Competencies:
  • Provides patient care services as assigned by a registered nurse
  • Contributes to patient comfort and overall outcomes of care
  • Functions as a member of a multidisciplinary healthcare team to identify and address patient needs
  • Assists with activities of daily living (ADLs), patient mobilization, and admit/discharge processes
  • Obtains and records vital signs
  • Updates and retrieves patient information as appropriate
  • Maintains a clean, safe, and orderly patient environment
  • Acts as an active member of the assigned care team
Education Required:
High School Diploma or Equivalent Work Experience Required:
None Preferred:
At least 2 years of Dialysis experience
Licenses and Certifications Preferred:
Certified Dialysis Technician CNA -
Certified Nursing Assistant Upon Hire Other Requirements:
Must pass pre-employment skills test as required and administered by Human Resources.
