Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Certified Clinical Hemodialysis Technician to join our healthcare team. In this vital role, you will provide expert dialysis treatment to patients with kidney failure, ensuring their safety, comfort, and well-being throughout each session. Your expertise in dialysis procedures, physiology, and medical terminology will be essential in delivering high-quality care. Duties Set up and operate hemodialysis equipment according to established protocols, ensuring optimal treatment delivery Monitor patient vital signs and overall condition throughout dialysis sessions, adjusting procedures as needed for safety and comfort Maintain strict aseptic techniques to prevent infection and ensure a sterile environment during all procedures Educate patients on the dialysis process, post-treatment care, and lifestyle adjustments to support their health journey Document all treatments accurately in patient records, including machine settings, patient responses, and any incidents or observations Assist with patient assessments by applying knowledge of physiology and anatomy to identify potential complications early Collaborate closely with nephrologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive patient care Requirements Certification as a Clinical Hemodialysis Technician from an accredited program is mandatory Proven experience working with dialysis equipment and procedures in a clinical setting Strong understanding of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology related to renal health and dialysis treatments Knowledge of aseptic techniques to maintain infection control standards during procedures Ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members in a clear and compassionate manner Demonstrated ability to follow detailed protocols and maintain meticulous documentation Flexibility to work various shifts as needed in a fast-paced healthcare environment Join us in providing life-changing care for patients facing kidney failure! $23.89 - $28.77 per hour
