Responsibilities Set up and operate dialysis machines with precision, ensuring optimal treatment parameters are maintained throughout each session Monitor patients closely during dialysis, assessing vital signs, blood flow, and overall response to therapy Maintain strict aseptic techniques to prevent infections and uphold CMS (Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services) regulatory standards Educate patients about the dialysis process, including pre- and post-treatment care instructions Document all procedures accurately in patient records, including treatment details and any observed complications Ensure the cleanliness and proper maintenance of all dialysis equipment and work areas Requirements Certified as a Clinical Hemodialysis Technician through an accredited program Two Years as a CCHT and 6 months in acute care setting Proven experience with dialysis procedures and familiarity with dialysis machines Knowledge of medical terminology used in nephrology and dialysis treatments Skilled in aseptic technique to maintain a sterile environment during procedures Ability to interpret vital signs and respond swiftly to patient needs or emergencies Familiarity with CMS regulatory compliance standards governing dialysis practices Join us in delivering exceptional care that transforms lives!
