Perioperative Support Equipment Coordinator Job Responsibilities:
Troubleshoots operational problems with equipment during set up and operation. Disassembles, cleans, and assembles equipment in accordance with department, vendor, biomed and infection control policies, and procedures Maintains an up-to-date list of all department equipment. Conducts a monthly assessment of the physical facility to identify needed repairs and problems. Works with Biomedical Engineering to coordinate equipment maintenance, repairs, and new equipment checks. Consistently and accurately performs testing and calibration on equipment according to department and vendor standards. Additional duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications:
Minimum Education:
High School diploma or GED equivalent.
Years of Experience:
Two years of OR hospital experience to include at least one year of surgical equipment experience
Certification :
Basic Life Support via AHA within 3 months
