Dietary Aide

We are currently looking for qualified applicants in our Dietary Department. You would be helping to prepare a delicious meals for our residents and our staff. Bending, reaching, standing, pulling, lifting, pushing and stooping will be required.

Job Title:

Dietary Aide Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook meals according to dietary guidelines and recipes provided
• Ensure the quality and presentation of food meets the standards set by the facility
• Assist with menu planning and meal preparation for special events and catering
• Adhere to all food safety and sanitation regulations
• Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed
• Collaborate with dietary staff to ensure smooth operation of the kitchen
• Maintain a clean and organized work area

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a cook in a healthcare or similar setting is preferred
• Knowledge of dietary restrictions and special diets is a plus
• Ability to follow recipes accurately and efficiently
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
