Job Overview Join our dedicated team as a Dietary Aide and play a vital role in delivering exceptional nutritional care within assisted living, nursing home, or hospital settings. In this energetic and rewarding position, you will assist in food preparation, service, and sanitation to ensure residents and patients receive nutritious, well-presented meals in a clean and welcoming environment. Your enthusiasm and attention to detail will help create a positive dining experience that promotes health, comfort, and satisfaction for those we serve. Duties Assist with food production and meal preparation following established recipes and safety standards Serve meals to residents or patients with friendly customer service, ensuring proper portioning and presentation Maintain cleanliness of kitchen areas, dining rooms, and food handling equipment through regular sanitation and cleaning routines Support food handling procedures to adhere to food safety regulations and sanitation standards Buss tables, clear trays, and assist with meal delivery to ensure efficient service flow Follow proper food storage protocols and assist with inventory management within the dietary department Collaborate with nursing staff or caregivers to accommodate special dietary needs or restrictions Skills Previous experience in assisted living, nursing homes, hospitals, or the food industry is highly desirable Strong knowledge of food preparation, serving techniques, and sanitation practices Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy meal periods Ability to follow detailed instructions related to food safety, handling, and dietary requirements Customer service-oriented attitude with a friendly approach toward residents or patients Familiarity with kitchen equipment, cooking procedures, and meal assembly processes Understanding of dietetics principles related to special diets or nutritional needs Join us in making a meaningful difference by providing nourishing meals in a caring environment.
