Prepare meals in accordance with planned menus, standardized orders, and special diet orders Prepare meals that are palatable and appetizing in appearance. Assist in serving meals as necessary and on a timely basis. Inspect special diet trays to assure that the correct diet is being served. Ensure that all food is prepared in a safe and sanitary manner Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, and work areas Assist with bussing tables and maintaining a clean dining area Collaborate with dietary staff to plan menus and ensure dietary needs are met
