Part-Time / On-Call Join Our Dietary Team! Hayward Gardens Post Acute is seeking a reliable and compassionate Dietary Aide to support our dietary services department. This role is essential in ensuring residents receive nutritious meals and excellent service in a clean, safe, and welcoming environment. Responsibilities Assist with meal preparation, tray assembly, and meal service. Deliver meals and snacks to residents in a timely and courteous manner. Follow resident diet orders and portion control guidelines. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the kitchen, dining areas, and equipment. Wash dishes, utensils, and food service equipment. Stock supplies and assist with inventory as directed. Adhere to all food safety, sanitation, and infection control policies. Work cooperatively with dietary staff and other departments to support resident care. Qualifications Previous experience in food service, healthcare, long-term care, or hospitality preferred but not required. Ability to follow instructions and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Strong customer service and communication skills. Dependable attendance and punctuality. Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the shift. Food Handler Card preferred or ability to obtain upon hire.
