Position Summary Moraga Post Acute is seeking a reliable and team-oriented Dietary Aide to join our dietary services department. In this role, you will play an important part in supporting the nutritional needs of our residents by assisting with meal service, food preparation, and maintaining a clean and sanitary dining environment. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Assist with meal preparation, tray assembly, and meal service according to physician orders and dietary guidelines Deliver meals and snacks to residents while ensuring accuracy and quality Provide feeding assistance to residents as directed Follow portion control standards and accommodate special diets, including diabetic, cardiac, and texture-modified meals Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen equipment, workstations, dining rooms, and food preparation areas Wash and properly store dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment Stock food, beverages, and supplies while assisting with inventory organization Follow all facility policies related to food safety, sanitation, infection prevention, and workplace safety Deliver friendly, respectful service to residents, visitors, and staff Assist with special events, holiday meals, and other dietary department activities as needed Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent preferred Previous experience in food service, dietary services, hospitality, or healthcare preferred Knowledge of food handling, sanitation, and safety procedures is a plus Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Excellent communication and teamwork abilities Positive attitude with a commitment to resident satisfaction and quality service
Compensation & Benefits Pay Rate:
