Position Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Dietary Aide to join our kitchen team. The Dietary Aide plays a vital role in supporting both our residents and dietary staff , ensuring meals are nutritious, appealing, and served with care. This position is essential to maintaining the health, happiness, and dignity of our residents.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in meal preparation and service under the direction of the Dietary Manager and Cook. Ensure meals are served in accordance with residents' dietary needs and preferences. Set up dining areas and deliver meal trays to residents in a timely, respectful manner. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the kitchen and dining areas. Wash dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment following infection control and facility protocols. Follow posted menus, portion control, and safety guidelines. Assist with receiving, labeling, and storing food and supplies properly. Support a positive and team-oriented environment focused on resident satisfaction.

Qualifications:

Previous experience in food service or healthcare settings preferred (but not required). Knowledge of dietary restrictions and safe food-handling practices is a plus. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and communicate effectively with residents and team members. Compassionate, dependable, and committed to providing excellent service. Must be able to pass a background check and health screening per state requirements.
