Responsibilities:

Manage the dietary department, including planning, organizing, and directing the daily operations of food and nutrition services Develop and implement menus that meet the dietary needs of our residents, while also promoting mealtime enjoyment and socialization Supervise and train dietary staff, including cooks, servers, and housekeeping personnel Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, standards, and policies, including infection control and sanitation procedures Maintain accurate records and reports, including menu planning, inventory management, and food safety protocols Collaborate with other departments, including nursing, social services, and activities, to ensure seamless delivery of care and services Participate in quality improvement initiatives, including monitoring and improving food safety, quality, and patient satisfaction

Requirements:

Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) Must be a Registered Dietitian. Must hold Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) and Certified Food Protection Professional (CFPP) certifications. ServSafe certification required. High school diploma or equivalent is required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Dietary Manager or in a related role; experience in a long-term care setting is preferred Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and direct a team of dietary staff Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with residents, families, and other healthcare professionals Ability to lift, push, and pull heavy objects, and to stand for long periods of time Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays About our
