Full Job Description Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) to lead and oversee the daily operations of our dietary department within our skilled nursing facility. The ideal candidate will ensure high-quality meal service, regulatory compliance, and excellent nutritional care for our residents.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage and supervise all dietary department staff, including scheduling and performance oversight Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations, including sanitation and food safety standards Plan, develop, and implement menus that meet residents' nutritional needs and physician-ordered diets Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including nursing and clinical staff, to support resident care plans Monitor food preparation, portion control, and meal service to ensure quality and consistency Maintain inventory, manage food and supply ordering, and control departmental budget Ensure proper documentation and compliance with survey requirements Address resident and family concerns related to dietary services

Qualifications:

Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) credential required Certification in food safety (e.g., ServSafe) preferred Minimum of [2] years of experience in a healthcare or skilled nursing setting Strong knowledge of dietary regulations, including long-term care requirements Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment This position requires a Level 2 background screening through the Florida Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse.
