Full Job Description Job Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dietary Aide to join our team. As a Dietary Aide, you will play a crucial role in providing nutritional support to our residents. This position is responsible for assisting with food preparation, serving meals, and maintaining a clean and organized dining area. Duties:

• Assist with food preparation, including chopping vegetables, preparing salads, and assembling sandwiches
• Serve meals to residents according to their dietary needs and preferences
• Ensure that all food items are properly labeled and stored
• Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, dishes, utensils, and work areas
• Follow proper food handling and safety procedures at all times
• Assist with bussing tables and maintaining a clean dining area
• Provide excellent customer service to residents and their families
• Collaborate with the dietary department to ensure that all dietary requirements are met

Requirements:

• Previous experience in the food service industry is preferred
• Knowledge of basic cooking techniques and food production processes
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
• Excellent customer service skills
• Ability to work well in a team environment
• Basic understanding of food safety regulations and practices
• Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 25 pounds At our facility, we prioritize the health and safety of our staff and residents.
